HEART OF THE DELTA
LONG TERM ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL (LTACH)

ASH focuses on high-quality care: providing care that offers our patients steady recovery in an atmosphere that stimulates faster healing.

ASH focuses on getting patients home: putting in the effort required to get you back home as soon as possible.

ASH focuses on helping to avoid readmissions: designing treatment plans to help prevent re-entry into the hospital.

ASH focuses on being experts in a wider variety of specialties: providing physicians and medical professionals in various specialties to help more patients.

ASH focuses on maximizing quality of life: recommending outpatient care to ensure our patients can return to their daily routines and the activities they love.

Most patients and their families have limited knowledge of Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs).  Many people live their lives without ever requiring this higher level of care but for those who find themselves or a family member in need of longer specialized care, Long Term Acute Hospitals (LTACHs) are there. Normal acute care hospitals, or short term acute care hospitals, provide 5-7 days of care to stabilize patients; however, some patients require longer medical care due to the complexity of their diagnosis.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Delta, ASH (Allegiance Specialty Hospital), is our 39 bed LTACH.  Our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals provide comprehensive care to patients with complicated medical requirements such as ventilator weaning, respiratory therapy, IV therapy, Kidney and Renal issues, Feeding tubes, Congestive Heart Failure, Uncontrolled Diabetes as well as complex infections and deep wound care management.
